A marker party is the best when it comes to atmosphere. The main thing that needs to be done is for you to tell your guests to wear a normal, ordinary white shirt. It is very inexpensive and it can be bought for little money from almost any market.

Secondly, purchase a set of highlighters and some fabric markers and then put them, around your party location. When your guests arrive tell them to use the markers on other’s shirt by writing or signing. This shirt will remain a great souvenir in time but, during the party it will help them to open conversations. This theme is great to be applied for parties where the guests are not all familiar with each other.

Another idea would be to chose your favorite decade throughout time and announce all your guests in time so, they will be able to come to the party prepared. The location of this kind of picnic can be anywhere: on the beach, in the backyard or, why not in the park.

The night party is the coolest kind of party, the best of all. During the summer, even the nights are hot so all you need are some candles and the location can be anywhere mentioned before.

Buy everything necessary a few days before and if you can cook something that resists more than one day cook it. Clean the location a day or two before the party. The last day before the party should be dedicated to decorations and food. Live yourself time so you can also relax before your guests arrival.

If you need help accept it or ask for it. It is absolutely ok if someone comes to help you out. If your friends or guests offer to help you do not be afraid to accept. Also,if they want to bring something accept their offer, let them get involved. Be graceful for their help and never take advantage of the fact that they were willing to help. Ask only for small things like: come a few minutes before, or please bring some ice.

According to the plan, the party should be a knock-out but, always have a plan B.

Do not get scared. I will tell you right now what I mean by plan B. For instance, if your party’s location is in the yard or anywhere outside watch the forecasters. It might be a rainy day so be ready, if necessary, to move your things inside. If the forecasters predict a beautiful and warm weather be happy but still take in to consideration a potential rain. Now, that everything is really ready all you have to do is to enjoy your work… with your guests, of course!

Now that you decided what kind of party you want, all you have to do is to decide who you want to invite. The best option is always your friends. But you can invite acquaintances or people you do not really know. Big parties make people be more relaxed and sociable. If you want to make this event bigger tell your friends to bring other friends or people they know.

In order to throw this kind of party you need a plan and if you have a cookbook with healthy recipes everything gets easier. If you do not have one, get one and start working on your party and do not forget to be creative. If healthy food is something totally new to you get interested and search on this subject: read magazines and learn about whole foods because is very popular. Learn about ingredients and, why not, some food history. Use food in different ways, share cooking recipes and ideas because each chef has his ways, different from another.
